Danica Bolton, CFP®

Associate Wealth Advisor

Danica Bolton is an Associate Wealth Advisor for Financial Harvest Wealth Advisors. Danica assists with cash flow needs, account maintenance, and trading and meets with clients regularly to fulfill their intentions to live their best lives.

A native of Raleigh, North Carolina, Danica taught herself how to fund her education when she went to college in Florida and discovered she liked helping people understand their financial options.

While thoroughly researching and applying through FAFSA for grants, scholarships, and loans during her undergraduate studies, she became a trusted source of knowledge for her peers who were also navigating these same challenges. Danica worked her way through her bachelor’s degree to fund her education and living expenses and completed her master’s degree in reading education as a full-time teacher. Whether in the classroom or with her peers, Danica’s passion is working with those who need additional resources and opportunities the most.

Although she left the education profession in 2016 to shift into the financial industry, she still has a teacher’s heart. She is a co-instructor for the firm’s multiple financial education offerings. She has also developed a course specifically aimed at young women entering the workforce to ensure they are equipped with the knowledge and skills for a solid financial foundation.

“I became skilled at learning the ins and outs and knowing where assistance and help was available and how to be strategic about it,” Danica said.

“I learned through my own experience the importance of breaking a cycle of thinking that had prevented financial stability and creating wealth. Sometimes, we can find ourselves bound by our disbelief in our own ability, which can lead to drifting or inaction. I feel strongly about the importance of objectively looking at a situation, charting a detailed plan with contingencies, and implementing that plan with discipline.”

Client Philosophy

“What I enjoy about this field is that it is well-defined, with clear boundaries and various options available to you. Our clients come in with an end goal for their financial health, but the steps they take to achieve that goal are always different. Through active listening, clear communication, and intentional questions, we build efficient wealth management plans and pivot as life circumstances change while still holding true to our investment philosophy.

“One of the most satisfying aspects of our career is taking something that may feel overwhelming and partnering with the client to determine a creative, disciplined, and multi-faceted plan to reach their goals. We see our clients become empowered and confident in their journey, and this is inspiring and motivating for us as a team.

“I enjoy working with a team where everyone is committed to the client first. We learn about their families, their interests, and their dreams, and we are privileged to play a part in helping support each of those aspects of their lives. As a former teacher, I also appreciate the dedication to financial education we provide to our clients and the community through our retirement and wealth creation courses, webinars, and Coffee Talks.”

“Kevin manages Adventure Cycling and is active in the Oviedo and Winter Springs mountain and road biking communities. He leads weekly rides through Soldier’s Creek and joins other riding groups throughout the week.

“We have been able to meet wonderful people and get more involved locally through our respective sports and clubs. I am proud to run with the O-Town Blazers Run Club and surround myself with those who sharpen me and inspire me to push myself in my athletic endeavors. Kevin and I also volunteer with trail clean-ups, local foot races, and other natural lands conservation efforts.

“I am blessed to mentor a high school athlete through Seminole County’s Take Stock in Children organization. I have found so much enjoyment stepping through academics, college planning, and life with my mentee!

“We attend Action Church in Winter Park, Florida. I serve on the Events team, and we have been blessed to join multiple small groups that have changed our lives for the better. We are happy to host anyone who would like to try Action Church.”
